If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2024 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.

If you cannot start over, then just go to the section of the return that needs changes.

Or, if you have not filed the tax return and do not want to use TurboTax, just sign off and abandon the account.

Cancel? Did you e-file it? If you e-filed you cannot cancel it. What did you do?
