The blue button that says "Amend using TurboTax Online" does not work. How can I amend my return if the system won't work?

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

This is not helpful. It provides general information. My problem is that the TurboTax Online function IS NOT WORKING.

I’m having this issue as well. Unfortunately have not been able to get any help on this.

You can no longer amend 2023 online and must download the desktop version to complete the amend.

How am I supposed to amend a return I did online??? I have to download the desktop version??? I have to pay for a desktop version to do this????

You can download the desktop version of an amended return for FREE! That's what I did and it worked fine.

If you found your found your TurboTax Online return you want to Amend, and clicked on the Amend button, but received a message that you need TurboTax Desktop, here's how to Contact TurboTax Support.

If you purchased your program from Intuit, they may push you a free download of the product you need to amend your prior year return.
