      <description>&lt;P&gt;That is because the IRS wants it that way. &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The amounts on a Form 1040 are in whole dollar amounts---without "cents." &amp;nbsp; What are you trying to do----why do you want the "cents?"&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't necessarily want cents, I just want to be exactly accurate so that my 1040x doesn't get kicked back/rejected.&amp;nbsp; I will leave cents off though.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;you can enter cents and then Turbotax rounds. the general rule is you round down to the next whole $ for 49 cents or less and up to the next whole $ for 50 cents or more. I've been rounding on returns since the 70's and it has never caused a problem&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
