Software problem - amending with a new 1099-B

I'm trying to amend my 2023 return with a new 1099-B. I click on "Add more sales" under "Your investment sales summary," then "stocks, bonds, mutual funds," and then the screen goes blank. Am I doing something wrong or does the software need to be fixed?

Are you using one of the TurboTax desktop editions for Windows to amend the 2023 tax return? If so, try this -

Save your tax return and close the TurboTax program

Right click on the TurboTax icon

Click on Run as administrator

Start the TurboTax program again to see if the problem persists. Also, make sure that you have updated the 2023 software to the latest release.

Thank you for the response. I'm using the desktop Turbo Tax for Mac. So, I don't see the option to run as an administrator.
