There is no "e-file number". What are you trying to do? If you e-filed the returns there is an electronic postmark. Is that what you mean?

Yes. I am looking for the electronic postmark for two prior years. How do I find that? Also, the link you posted above says "Article not found".

The certification of electronic postmark will print out with the pdf of your tax return. Sorry---it seems the link provided to you has gone dead.

The Electronic Postmark Report should be included in the PDF download for prior tax years.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Or -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Thank you for responding. Do you know where exactly/ what page I can find the Electronic Postmark Report? I just want to make sure I don't miss it.

You will need to open the PDF with a viewer. It will be listed on the right hand side of PDF window under the federal tax return forms, schedules and worksheets.

Click on the report to view. It will look like this when opened.
