Your tax return is the form you send to the IRS that shows your income and calculates your tax. The money the IRS sends back to you is your refund. The IRS does not send your return to you. You send your return to the IRS. After they process your return, the IRS sends your refund to you.

What does Where's My Refund? say?

Did you ask to get your federal refund by direct deposit to your bank account, or as a check in the mail?

Did you select the option to have TurboTax fees taken out of your federal refund?
