I'm trying to amend, and I've updated on the form but its not adjusting taxes

What code is wrong? What did you enter and what should it be? You may not need to amend.

I had an additional medicare tax box checked and it should have checked 401k so I paid taxes I shouldn’t have trying to figure how to amend to get refund but when I amend it in turbo tax it doesn’t update the schedule 2. Thanks

Please make sure that you select Code D for box 12 and not B. Once you confirm your selection in the drop down menu, continue through the screens.

In addition, instead of looking at the Amendment in Progress meter at the top of the page, please look at your 1040X, Line 22. To look at your 1040X, click on Tax Tools, then click on Print Center. Then, click Print, save or preview this year's return.
