Code 971- Request for replacement refund

Hi,

I filed my tax return in January 2024 and it was accepted. I was supposed to get direct deposit by February 14,2024 for tax refund but my bank rejected it because of some code error in the return (they said my account was personal account but on the file it was said to be business account). So I called to talk to Turbotax agent and I was told to wait for a few weeks that they would contact the IRS for this and the IRS will send me a paper check. Now on my transcript there’s code 971- request for replacement refund on 04-22-2024. I want to ask how long after this date I would get my paper check?

Only the IRS will be able to give you guidance as to when they sent your refund to you. I recommend contacting them using the information provided in this link.
