TurboTax pulls the same stunt every year. They allow you to ‘start’ for free and then immediately begin encouraging you to switch. Many users will be required to upgrade, but they don’t say that, do they? TurboTax is a RIP OFF. Bad faith, shoddy practices, deception, and bureaucracy. Even this ‘user forum’ is a crock of crap. Unable to give feedback without further upgrading, this is my only recourse. Shame on you, deceivers.

Plenty of other tax preparation software vendors available. Use one -https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/browse-all-offers/

I’d like turbotax to quit misleading its users.
