Unable to amend state return

I am attempting to amend my state return to report an adjustment to partnership income. i get to the page asking me to identify the partnership (with address and other information), but when I click on "continue" I am sent back to previous page (which asks for the reason for amending my return). I am unable to proceed. I am in an endless loop.

Please clarify which version of TurboTax you are using - Online or Desktop? If Online, is it Deluxe or Premium?

I have the desktop version.

Close out of the desktop program completely. Then open it back up and let the program run the updates before trying again to amend your return.
