So, I realized I missed out on over 1K for the Homestead Credit for my 2022 WI state tax return. I downloaded the 2022 software and worked on my return which I had also done through Turbo Tax when I originally filed. Now I’m at the end stages of “Review” where it says to print and mail my amended returns and then click “continue” to e-file my amended WI state return. Whenever I click continue, a page that says “Let’s get ready to file your taxes” pops up and when I click continue nothing happens. When I click the link to print the amended return it only shows me my federal return (which doesn’t even have any changes). How do I work around this so I can either e-file or file by mail my WI state amended 2022 tax return? This is very frustrating.

Be sure you are following these instructions. You can not efile a prior year amendment. You will have to mail.

If you want to make changes or add a document to a tax return that has already been submitted, you should follow these guidelines.

You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed.
You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return.
Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return. 
The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due
Only make changes to the areas of your return that need amending.
You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment

Can I fill out the form and print my amendment for last years tax return so that I can mail it? It won’t even let me print out the state one, just the federal one. Or do I have to do the amendment completely by hand without any help from TurboTax?
