Form 2210 not printing correctly

I am using TT Deluxe Desktop for Windows. TT identified that I might have a tax penalty so I went to Form 2210. Viewing it inside TT I can see both pages. However when I try to print it, only the first page is printing.

you are correct. however, form 2210 is not a form that is included in the e-file (unless a box in part II is checked) even if you select all forms and calculation worksheets it does not print

for the time being open the 2210 and select box b partial waiver. ignore any error messages. then you can print pages 1 and 2

don't forget to uncheck this box unless you really want to request a partial waiver before efiling

Thank you for the information. It worked for me. At this point I am just trying to understand the calculations and it seemed to me that having a printed copy to work with would be helpful.

I am using TurboTax Deluxe 2025. I am unable to print or save page 2 of Form 2210. I am unable to use the suggested workaround as I am unable to check Box B partial waiver. (Can only check C, D, or E; all are inappropriate for my tax situation.) Is there another workaround?

Since you are using a Desktop version of TurboTax, you can go to Forms Mode, select Form 2210, and click on the Print button to print out the form. If there is nothing on Page 2 of the 2210, that page won't be printed.

TurboTax will include with your e-file any forms and schedules that the IRS requires to process your return based on your entries.

If you have information on Page 2 of the 2210, and you are not able to print it or save it to a pdf, and you would like to share a sanitized version of your tax file for further analysis, see below:

In order for us to troubleshoot this issue, you can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions for TurboTax Desktop users:

From the black bar at the top of your screen, select Online
Click Send Tax File to Agent
Click Send on the message that pops up
TurboTax will create a "sanitized" copy of your return information with no personal info

I had the same experience you did - the Form 2210 would only print the first page, even though Page 2 was completed. I will report this issue for further investigation. However, I was able to print the Form 2210 Worksheet which does show the amount of the penalty.

All of the information in the data file should still be included in the e-file.

Update: we have referred this issue for further investigation. I reviewed your diagnostic file and found the same issue I had seen in a test return: the Form 2210 only prints the first page.

As a temporary measure, pending any additional programming, we recommend printing the Form 2210 Penalty Worksheet (you can pull it up by clicking Open Form and entering "Form 2210 Penalty Worksheet") which does display the calculation of the penalty.

Is this calculation inside form 2210 available from TT online or only desktop versions? I am not seeing the worksheet after selecting all worksheets included from Online Print Center of my 2025 return.

Yes, you should be able to access the underpayment penalty worksheet (Form 2210) in the TurboTax Online version. However, the forms may not show if you didn't complete the Underpayment Penalty questionnaire.

Select Other Tax Situations from the left side menu, and look for Underpayment Penalty under Additional Tax Payments. Go through the Underpayment Penalty section and answer all the questions. This should ensure that the forms appear in your return.

Navigate to Tax Tools on the left menu, select Print Center, choose Print, save, or preview this year's return, and select the option to Include government and TurboTax worksheets. You will need to have paid for your Online product in order to print these forms.

Indeed the penalty amount was first calculated without the interview questions being fully completed. Strange that the penalty amount changes slightly from the default, and now I can view the computation inside the form 2210 worksheet now from Print Center. Thank you for the help!
