My refund was supposed to deposit into my account today. I checked the website yesterday and it says such was sent. But this morning I checked and it say "sending back to IRS." The routing number and account number on my refund are both correct. So why is my refund being sent back.

...and then taking $30.00 extra dollars just to send it back to the IRS when my banking information is correct!

I will never use Turbotax again!

After speaking with my bank... SBTPG is coding their deposits to SoFi incorrectly. Causing them to send deposits back to SBTPG.

If you have SOFI Bank and you are using your refund to pay for fees do not use SoFI.

I most likely won't get my return till later this year as it's now back with SBTPG!

Anyway, I'm done with Turbotax after this. Plus the amount of people on Reddit with this same issue... is enough.

So here we go again. New year, same issue. Now I'm about to start a group to get a class action lawsuit to get out fees reversed. This is a joke. Shouldn't have to pay, when lied to, and money held up for no reason.
