    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the reply. I was prompted online to file single (legally separated), but was unsure after I did it because until the separation agreement, we have used married filing separately. I guess I was just second guessing and wanted to be sure.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Very few states have a "legal separation" allowed but if your state allows it and you have a signed document from the court&amp;nbsp; then you can file as SINGLE ... that is the correct filing status.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
