My transcript on IRS shows I filed taxes but didn't file a return and it is costing me a lot of money so I am just wondering where my 2022 taxes are so I can get this disputed.

How is the IRS telling you that you didn't file a 2022 return but the transcript says you did?

How to Access prior year online returns

If you can't get the side menus to open up to access the prior year..... You need to start entering some basic Personal Info in 2023 for the side menu to open up. Just continue a little ways into 2023. I had to go though about 12 screens.

If you used the Desktop CD/Download program then the only copy is on your computer and not saved or stored online. So you need to make and keep your own backups.

Or request a transcript from the IRS

no the return transcript from IRS is saying i didn’t file a return. However, I am very certain i did because i went through turbotax and did it with my partners step mom. When i go to try to pull up the records from turbotax for the 2022 taxes, it doesn’t show anything from 2022. I did them on my phone last year. Let me look on the first link you sent to see if that pulls anything up.

I am having the same issue, unfortunately. The IRS has me going through hoops so having my original 2022 tax return document I submitted would be highly helpful so I can show the IRS Advocacy I filed correctly. But like you, I am unable to retrieve any document with turbotax for that tax year (2022). I've never had an issue with using this company prior years or even filing this year but for some reason 2022 was flagged and now I cannot retrieve my documents from Turbo. I have access to transcripts from the IRS though.

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
