FTB Tax returns accepted

IE filed my return on January 14. My acceptance is still pending although FTB started excepting returns on January 2. How much longer before my return is either accepted or rejected?

Once you submit your return the fed/state have all the control. Although some returns are accepted early in test batches not everyone will be accepted. And your state will not accept the return until the federal return is accepted ... so all you can do is wait.

My Federal Return was accepted over 2 weeks ago but my State is still pending. FTB web site says they started accepting returns on Jan 2nd but have no record of mine still.

Some states start processing e-filed returns at the same time as the IRS, while some others do not. Please see the TurboTax article Why is my state e-file still pending?
