If you have transmitted the tax return without the Ohio tax information, you are not able to retrieve the tax return.

You will have to wait until you are notified that the tax return has either been accepted or rejected by the IRS and/or the state.

If the tax return is rejected, you may return to the software and

fix the error that generated the tax return rejection, and
enter the Ohio tax information that was left off.

If the tax returns are accepted as you have described, the tax returns will need to be amended to include the missing Ohio tax information.

Amended Federal and state tax returns will not be available for several more weeks.

So my Ohio return was accepted and I received a letter from Ohio station I owe them money. The letter says I need to reply by Feb 13th. Turbo Tax says I cannot amend my return until Feb 15th. Great service since they are who left my info blank in the first place.

Reply by mail to the Ohio Department of Taxation by February 13 explaining your situation.

Include a copy of their correspondence and copy of the W-2 which demonstrates that you have Ohio state income taxes withheld on line 15 through 18. Explain that you have not yet reported the Ohio tax withheld to the Ohio Department of Taxation and will be able to do that when 2023 amended tax returns are available for processing.
Amend your Federal 1040 and Ohio state tax return when those processes become available.
Retain a copy of your correspondence should questions arise at a later time.

Seems too early to be getting a tax due letter from the state. Could it be for your 2022 return?
