Ignore it. TurboTax "thought" the IRS would start on 1-22, but the IRS changed it to 1-29. January 29 is the date when they will begin to accept/reject e-files.

Why does my TT return have a submitted date of 1/22/24? I filed on 1/6 and I didn’t think the IRS opened this year until 1/29.. anybody know what the 1/22 date is about?

When you e-filed your 2023 return TurboTax thought the IRS would open on 01/22.

The IRS stated they will officially start processing 2023 tax returns on 01/29/2024

IRS website for the notice - https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/2024-tax-filing-season-set-for-january-29-irs-continues-to-make-improvements-to-help-taxpayers
