Now I want to pick up and continue where I left 4-5 months ago but I couldn’t able to find it. How do I find and file 2022 Turbo Tax online?

Sorry you can't use online for 2022 anymore. Online is only for 2023. You have to switch to the Desktop program now. and it's too late to efile a prior year using Turbo Tax.

How to finish a return you started online,

You will have to print and mail your returns. So be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.

Then when you file for 2023 you need to enter 0 for the 2022 AGI since you are filing 2022 late.

Oh did he file and claim himself? So your return rejected? Sorry you didn't need to wait for him to amend. You should have gone ahead and mailed your return. You wouldn't be able to efile even if he amended. Once a ssn has been used you can't efile it again.

I have never filed yet. My son filed and claimed himself first but he amended later as “someone else can claim”. I waited for his amended approval. That was the reason I haven’t filed yet.

What didn't you understand on my posts? You didn't need to wait to file for his amended return to be approved. You should have just mailed your return claiming him on time, even before he amended. If you return was done just print it out now and mail it. Or you will have to finish in the Desktop installed program.

Again ... you did NOT need to wait for his amended return to MAIL in your return. At no time would you have been able to efile your return even when his amendment was processed. And it is too late to efile a 2022 return so as the others have said you can print, ink sign and mail in the prior year return now. If the return was ready to go and you did not save a PDF of the return then you can download the PDF file now.

To access your prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

If you have not yet started a 2023 return :

Start the 2023 online tax return by entering some personal information (about a dozen screens) even if you will NOT use the TT program for the 2023 return. Then click on Tax Home on the left side of the screen.

On the Tax Home webpage -

Scroll down to the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

Thank you for your instruction. Its really helped me. I have a question. I clicked on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF). It came out total 300 pages. Do I need to print all 300 pages, signs and mail?
