you can't. you apparently used the online app for 2023 that can only do 2023. to do 2022 you need the 2022 desktop app as online preparation is closed. Florida does not have a personal income return so I assume you're asking about the Federal 1040 for 2022. here's one source for buying the 2022 app. other sites also offer it. also be aware you can no longer e-file 2022. it must be mailed with any required forms attached

Everything is not "correct" except for the year. You used the wrong software, so the whole return is all wrong. You entered 2022 income and information into a program that is only for 2023 returns.

You need to clear that return and start over. The online program can only be used for a 2023 tax return.

CLEAR AND START OVER

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/2586254-how-do-i-clear-and-start-over

As for preparing a 2022 return, you can only do that using the CD/download on a full PC or Mac, and the return will have to be filed by mail.

Online preparation and e-filing for 2020, 2021, and 2022 is permanently closed.

To file a return for a prior tax year

If you need to prepare a return for 2020, 2021, or 2022 you can purchase and download desktop software to do it, then print, sign, and mail the return(s)

https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

You may also want to explore purchasing the software from various retailers such as Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, Walmart, Sam’s, etc.

Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/state-taxes/help/how-do-i-contact-my-state-department-of-revenue/00/25573

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

Note: The desktop software you need to prepare the prior year return must be installed/downloaded to a full PC or Mac. It cannot be used on a mobile device.

If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.

As for preparing your 2022 return----you can only do that using the CD/download on a full

FLORIDA

Florida does not have a state income tax. You should have skipped the FL tax unless you own rental property in FL or a FL based business.

Florida has a tangible personal property tax form that is used in a Florida-located business or rental property and is filed with the county property appraiser by April 1st.

If you do need to file a Form DR-405, nothing will print (except an instruction sheet) unless assets were transferred or you manually entered assets in the DR-405 worksheet.

If you do not have tangible personal property to report, choose Skip State in the State Taxes section.

If you proceeded past the warning screens, try deleting the Florida return --> https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1900608

If you actually already paid for an unnecessary FL return:

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
