I have the tax return files that I need to access but no longer have the original CDs. How can I open, view or print these returns?

You have the .tax files? For 2002?

You could try the TaxPrinter service (not connected with Turbo Tax) to convert a .tax file to pdf at

http://www.taxprinter.com

They might be expensive and it is probably not safe to email tax returns back and forth.

TurboTax does not support tax years prior to 2020. Even if you could find a CD for those old returns you would not be able to get any updates or state programs for years 2002 or 2003.
