Copy to a flash drive

I want to send a copy of my return to my flash drive which is connected to my computer. I have clicked on the copy function in turbo tax but nothing happens with this function. How do I get the tax return, not the entire program, sent to the flash drive?

do you want to sabe the tax file ending in .tax2022 or a copy of the return.

if a copy from the file tab of the return select print and then select the version you want to save (basic return to everything - return all calculation worksheets)

then select save as PDF (blue icon at bottom)

then a window will open up and you can select the flash drive (may need to scroll down on left)

are you trying to copy the PDF file or the data.tax2022 file?

either way, you should be able to simply copy / paste it using file manager.

that edit / copy function within turbo tax will not copy the entire data file or the completed tax return

If you cannot figure out how to send it to the flash drive directly simply save the PDF to your desktop then move it to the flash drive.
