The irs says they can’t find my file but turbo tax say they accepted it

The IRS Is in Washington D.C. and handles Form 1040.

If you have a state tax issue you have to contact your state revenue division

The IRS has nothing to do with your state tax return or state refund.

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
