Did you e-file or mail the amended tax return?

If you e-filed your return did you receive an email from TurboTax indicating that the amended return was Accepted or Rejected.

If Accepted then use this IRS website for the status of an amended federal tax return - https://www.irs.gov/filing/wheres-my-amended-return

An amended tax return will take the IRS 20 weeks or longer to process.
