I will need my 2022 Tax return when I file my 2023 tax return, so it's important to recover from Turbo Tax my 2022 return. Does Turbo Tax keep a copy of my return? (I do have a pdf of my return, but cannot use it to filemy 2023 return

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Look in the TurboTax folder within the Documents directory, there may be a 2022 tax data file with a tilde (~) at the top of the list in the folder which is a auto back-up data file. If not then look in the Recycle Bin (Windows) and see if the 2022 data file is there.

For your 2022 tax return did you use TurboTax Online or the CD/Download TurboTax software?
