I have been searching for hours on how to get this changed to it has been mailed, getting really frustrated

"Ready to mail" means ready for YOU to print it, sign it and put it in an envelope that you take to a mailbox yourself. TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you. If you could not e-file for some reason, then you have to mail it in---but you do that for yourself.

If, in fact, you did mail it----TurboTax's software has no way to know that you mailed it. Your account will always just show it as "ready to mail." You have to track your refund yourself on the state's refund site.

Ready to Mail means that you have to print, sign, date and mail the state tax return to your state.

If you cannot e-file the state return, then Print the return from PDF using Print Center. The Filing Instructions page will have the information on what to file and the address for filing the state return using this procedure -

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2022 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.
