click yes on the next screen for that covers other taxes paid

scroll down to the line that says payments with 2022 federal extension and click start

or tools tab

my tax data

select payments on the jump to interview window

Thanks for your response. Right before I submit the files, I viewed them and on Form 1040, it is line 32. On Form 1040 Schedule 3, it is line 10 (Amount paid with request for extension to file). I have already paid a portion of my taxes and I entered the incorrect number of how much I’ve already paid so the remaining amount that I owe is coming up incorrectly. Is there a way I can edit it in Turbo Tax so that it reports the correct amount I have remaining ?

try this

1) Open or continue your return in TurboTax, if it's not already open
2) Search for estimated tax payments (use this exact phrase) and then click the Jump to link in the search results
3) In the Payments with Extension section, select Start or Update next to the payment you submitted with your type of federal, state, or local extension.

Depends on whether you paid an estimated tax or you paid taxes with an extension request.

To enter, edit or delete estimated taxes paid (Federal, State, Local) -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
On Estimates, click on the start or update button

Or enter estimates paid in the Search box located in the upper right of the online program screen. Click on Jump to estimates paid

To enter, change or delete a payment made with an extension request (Federal, State, Local) -

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Deductions and Credits
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
On Income Taxes Paid, click on the start or update button

On the next screen select the type of extension payment made and click on the start or update button

Or enter federal extension payment in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to federal extension payment
