I have a code 971 and a 977 on my transcript. I sent a noticed back to the irs about getting our EIC after we forgot to file for it which was a cp09. I sent it in the mail and my wife accidentally amended for the same reason. I’m just now seeing they have gotten both. Will this delay or will they be able to see exactly why we Ammeded and then just send our refund check in the mail as the paper stated? Also what’s does claim forwarded for processing mean exactly? Thanks.
