Amended Return

I submitted my original tax return via e-file on TurboTax. The return was accepted by the IRS on 2/3/23. I overlooked some details and had to amend my return on 2/17/23. On the TurboTax website it says my Amended Return e-file was accepted. However, when checking the Where's My Amended Return on the IRS website, nothing shows and it's been well past three weeks.

Is this because the IRS is behind is why it's not showing? Or am I missing something where TurboTax will show the e-file accepted status but for some reason I should have printed and mailed it? A little confused.. also when viewing the amended return, there's no digital signature on it. Thanks.

Turbo Tax will not have the status of your amended return. You can visit the IRS website for more information on your amended return status. They do take longer to process, so please keep checking.
