I have received approval for payment plan using IRS Online Payment Agreement, but I haven't filed my return yet. How do I e-file my return with the installment plan.

Complete your tax return and in the File section on Step 2 when taxes are owed select to pay the taxes owed by mailing a check. Then after e-filing the return do not mail a check since you are paying the taxes owed using installments.

you should mail a check for the first installment.

do not include the voucher that shows the full amount you owe.
