I'm using the 2022 Premier disc (so not online) and need to save what I've started but not completed. The file tab lists "save" and "save as" but no longer "save & exit". How can I save what I've started and retrieve to finish later. Thanks.

You can use Save or Save as... and then exit the program, your tax data has been saved. Or you can click on Exit and a window will pop up asking you if you want to Save this file, just click on Yes.

Just do File-Save. Or if you click the red X in the upper right it will ask if you want to save before closing. And you should save often even while working on your return. Don't think the Desktop program ever said "save and exit". Whenever & however you exit it should ask to save.

click "exit" at bottom of drop box, then click

"save". It will save what you have entered and pick up where you left off when you restart.
