My state efile was rejected. Will turbotax refund the fee?

There are no e-file fees when using the TurboTax online editions, federal or state. The TurboTax account fees are for the use of the software to assist in completing a tax return. The fees are same whether a tax return is e-filed or printed for mailing.

I efiled the state of ma return. I was charged $20 for the service. The fed efile was free with the purchase of the premium turbo tax software.

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue. If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help. Do not use the word “refund.”
