In 2021 received Edd overpayment of $3774 and repaid in 2022. Not received any forms from Edd. How to get the credit back?

If you repaid unemployment benefits to EDD, this is a claim of right repayment. You can only report it in the year you actually repaid the claim.

If your repayment is less than $3,000, you'll claim it as a Miscellaneous itemized deduction in Schedule A.

for less than $3000, what if i use standard deduction?
