I'm curious why there is no actually bar or status anymore. When can i expect an update now that the 3 week mark has passed. And when can i expect me refund. From what i've reviewed there are no issues with me tax return. I'm assuming that this just means someone is manually reviewing my tax return now but i'm wondering how long that process takes as well.

This is the "busy season" for the IRS. Even though "21 days" is offered as the "usual" period within which tax refunds are processed, there is no assurance that your particular refund will be processed within that window. Keep checking the "where's my refund" on the IRS website for updated information.
