What tax year are you wanting to amend? If you need to amend an earlier tax year, you can do so now. But if you want to amend 2022 you have to wait. The form you need is not available yet. It will be ready by late February.

If you need to correct a form after you filed it, please see this Help Article for instructions on Amending a return. Please note, the 2022 Amendment 1040-X form may not be available yet. It will show up on the Help Article with a link once it is ready to use.
