Why over the past two years does my 5-year tax history not include the most recent two years?

My 2021 return showed history from 2016-2019 but 2020 was blank.

Did you use different accounts? Or did you use the CD/download for a couple of those years? Only data from the same account will show up in the history.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

I believe I have always downloaded the current year TurboTax from a CD...as I did this year. However, I do have two accounts but I cannot see an option for updating my forgotten password for the account that I last accessed in 2017. That may not be the issue, since the 5 year history does show tax years 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019...not 2020 or 2021.
