Why is my federal return more than 100 dollars less??

I filed my taxes a few weeks ago and I recently received my refund. I was told I would get $498 back from federal. I only received $326. I was expecting to pay a fee of $40 to TurboTax for the program and that’s all. When going into my TurboTax acct is says I have paid $128(listed twice) for my fee. This is not at all what I was told or expected! I only agreed to pay $40 and would like a refund!

Did you do a state return? State is a separate $39. There is also a Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California) or you could have paid upfront with a credit card to avoid the extra charge.

Hi I did file my state with turbo. But even with the federal and state fees combined that’s only like 80 dollars. I didn’t pay anything upfront. I wasn’t asked to

As I said....if you had the fees deducted from your refund there is an Extra $40 Refund Processing Service charge (45 in California) plus sales tax.
