    <description>&lt;P&gt;Was his return efiled before yours?&amp;nbsp; Check his return and see if it is checked for&amp;nbsp; &lt;STRONG&gt;Someone can claim you&lt;/STRONG&gt; on the Standard Deduction line in the top half of the 1040.&amp;nbsp; If he didn't claim Dependent then you will have to print and mail your return this year to claim him.&amp;nbsp; He will have to amend his return.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;You don't have to wait for his return to be amended since you have to mail yours.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I filed my 2022 return and claimed my son, then filed his return and thought i checked that he can be claimed as a Dependant and y return was rejected how do i fix it?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So whose return was rejected?&amp;nbsp; Yours or his?&amp;nbsp; You should get an email with a reject code.&amp;nbsp; It may be for something else.&amp;nbsp; Could anyone else have already claimed him, like his other parent?&amp;nbsp; Or it could be an honest mistake on someone else's return that they entered a ssn wrong on their return and got his by accident.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
