I filed my state return a few days after my federal and both were accepted on the same day Jan 28th about a week ago. I received my state today but no federal. Is that normal? I know they are separate but usually the federal comes first. Also if it says that it has been received and then accepted does that mean that I’m def getting the direct deposit? Thanks for any help

It can take the IRS longer to process a return than state. Unfortunately, the IRS is the only one that would know about the processing of your return. You can check the status of your return on the IRS website, Where’s My Refund.
