Does TurboTax have a way to find my wife's return? It found my 2021 filing from last year to auto-fill the "Refunds Received for State/Local Tax Returns" but not hers

I can add and edit the section to add a second refund received but I thought once her SSN was entered it would port everything over automatically?

If you filed a joint return for 2021 then the AGI is the same for both of you. It is on line 11 of your 2021 Form 1040.

If you did not file a joint return for 2021 then your wife's AGI will not be transferred in automatically. You will have to look at her 2021 return to get the AGI from line 11.

The same will be true for state refunds. Entering her SSN does not bring in her information automatically if you used different accounts for 2021.

Unfortunately, TurboTax does not port two separate returns together. You can go back to your wife's TurboTax account (the sign in she used when she filed the tax return) and get a copy of her return. You can also go to the IRS Get Transcript to get the information.
