What first time home buyer credit? Does your state have one? There is no federal first time home buyer credit. That ended in 2010.

Unfortunately, the First-Time Homebuyer Act of 2021 still remains a proposed bill that has not yet moved through the legislative process to become law. Therefore, there is no tax credit opportunity for either 2021 or 2022.
