There are a lot of numbers to enter....What numbers are you trying to enter? Please be specific. We cannot see your screen or your tax return.

to enter amounts directly on a form you need to switch to the CD/download version.

you can't do it with TurboTax Online.

And even in the downloaded programs direct form entries are frowned upon ... the overrides voids the accuracy guarantee and will keep you from efiling the return.

I need to enter the numbers myself in FORMS MODE in the desktop Home and Business software for the Form 6252 because this particular form is not in the step by step part of the software where you answer questions to complete the tax forms or Interview Mode. So I have no choice but to enter the data in FORMS MODE because the Interview part of this desktop software doesn't have Form 6252 questions. So will the data that I entered in FORMS MODE for Form 6252 be added to the rest of my tax return ? I'm concerned that the Capital Gains gets entered into my tax return because I believe the mortgage interest is entered on the same form where I enter my interest from my savings accounts. This Form 6252 is being used because I sold an apartment building with seller financing from me so I can spread out the Capital Gains taxes out for years instead of paying all of it in the year it was sold. To include Form 6252 for an installment sale in TurboTax Business please follow these steps:

Click Federal Taxes > Income.
On the Use of Your Business Asset screen, mark the Yes.
Did you dispose of any assets in 20XX? Click Continue
On the Select Disposed Asset screen, click the Select box next to the asset sold.
Continue to the screen, Determine Installment Sale Qualification, click the Yes box.
Continue through the screens, entering the requested information on the installment sale.
TurboTax will create Form 6252 with your return.
