How do i find the calculations used in a prior year's return?

I am trying to determine what numbers were used to calculate short and long term capital gains/losses. I cannot see the values from a previous year.

short and long term capital gains/losses are shown on Schedule D.

If you want the tax on those amount you have to find the tax worksheet that was used in your situation.
