You will be asked about the 3rd stimulus payment you either received or did not receive after you have completed the Other Tax Situations section of the 2021 TurboTax program.

Are you using the Desktop program to do 2021?
To get to the stimulus questions in TurboTax at any time, you can search for stimulus or recovery rebate credit then hit ENTER and there should be a Jump to link

If you are trying to trigger it,

Click on Other Tax Situations at top

Click on Let's get started

Answer some questions then Continue

Then click on Let's keep going

Next screen is for the Third Stimulus, if you qualify

If you did not get prompted to enter your stimulus information, that means you either:

Filed as a dependent being claimed on another tax return, or
have an AGI too high to claim the recovery rebate credit

If you received the 3rd Stimulus payment (1400 per person) then make sure 1040 line 30 for the Recovery Rebate Credit is blank! Line 30 is only if you didn't get the full amount or qualify for more.

And remember that the IRS sent letter 6475 to EACH spouse if you filed a joint return, so make sure you enter the total amount you and your spouse received.

@ColT007 and better yet, review your bank account records from March - May, 2021.

if you report receiving LESS THAN the IRS knows it sent you, that will create an "error" and a longer wait to get any refund due you,

Since you are paper filing at this late date, assume that it will take up to SIX months from the time you file until the IRS even BEGINS reviewing your tax return. if there is an error, that will just add more time to the completion of the review of your return,. No progress about your return will be available on the 'where is my refund tool' until the IRS BEGINS its review (in 6 months), so be patient and be preparerd to WAIT.
