If I purchase TurboTax Premier CD, do I get a download also?

I noticed that I have 2020 Turbo Tax Deluxe CD + State, but I also noticed a 2020 download for the same product in my downloads. How did I get both, as I would like to do the same for 2022? Do I have to wait until I start my 2022 Turbo Tax to purchase a 2nd state? When will 2022 Turbo Tax products be available?

If you have an Advantage subscription where you received the TurboTax software each tax year in November of the year, you will also have a download in your account if your normal order is a CD.

Go to this TurboTax website to sign onto your Advantage account - https://accounts-tax.intuit.com/turbotaxadvantage

If you do not have an Advantage subscription and you order the CD from TurboTax, to get a download you will need to contact TurboTax support so they can push a installation file to your download account.

The TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions for tax year 2022 are currently available - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

To purchase a second state program using the desktop editions, you must first download and install the first free state program. Another state program, other than the first state, is currently $40.

Thank you for your quick response. I'm not sure if I have an Advantage account, but I will check. I still don't remember how I got the CD and download, but if all I have to do is call and have it loaded it shouldn't be a problem. There probably won't be an extra cost, as I have to call them every year to add my additional state to my download list.
