I have nopt gotten my 2020 or 2021 tax refund. Both where mailed in, and I asked for check to be mailed. Yet, I still have not gotten them

Did you mail them in separate envelopes? If you put them together it is possible that one was overlooked by the person who opened the mail. And...you do not say how long ago you mailed the returns. It is taking the IRS six to nine months (sometimes longer) to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your mailed return and enters it into the system, you will not see any information on the IRS refund site. Once they put it into the system, you can use the refund site to get information for 2020 refunds and 2021 refunds.

TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

All I can think of is that you sent the filing to the wrong address. I filed late this year using turbotax and within 1 month , State has processed my return. I am still waiting on my Federal. I had taxes due, so I made an on line payment prior to sending in my filing. This could have flagged my filing and pushed the process forward. I don't know if I would have had a faster processing if I had a refund due. You should go to the IRS and your State tax website and register. Your registration should give you access to see details of your situation on their website.

Sorry the IRS is taking a long time this year like over 6 months. If you're not waiting for a refund why do you need it processed fast? If the state got your return then the IRS got the federal return.
