Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them. Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax? If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.

I am confused by your question ... did you start the return using the ONLINE program ? If so you have until 10/31/22 to complete and efile the return using the online program.

If you want to switch to the Downloaded/CD version you bought then log in online, scroll down and download the .taxfile that you can open in the installed program.
