customer service

I have been trying to contact someone in Customer Service for 3 weeks and when I finally got through, they said they were busy, and they would call me back at my number instead of waiting. When they called me back it was an automated system stating this was the last call I would receive, and it hung up. I'm very concerned that we are unable to talk to anyone when I paid for their service Also, when I called, the automated system tells me I never filed my Federal Taxes. Seriously? I filed them with TurboTax and was billed. I know I filed them, and my account shows I did. This is insane. And now I can't get in touch with a live person! Anyone else having this problem

@Cas18

Paying your fees did not file your tax return.

Did you e-file? Did you click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

If the IRS accepted it, what does it say here?

https://www.irs.gov/refunds

 Or does your account say “Ready to Mail?”

Note: If it says “Ready to Mail” or “Printed” that means YOU have to mail it yourself. TurboTax does not mail your tax return for you.

No one at TurboTax is going to know about your refund if you filed the return and it was accepted. TT does not get any updates.

To call TurboTax customer support

https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899263-what-is-the-turbotax-phone-number

Customer support is available from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pacific time daily
