Return was rejected, so I filed an amended one on 4/19/22, but see no record of it being filed. Status still reads Rejected Return. Can you check to see what happened to the amended return? Thank you!

What do you mean an "amended" return? What did you do? You are not supposed to amend a rejected return. You can make corrections and re-file or you can print, sign and mail it in. Amending is a special process you only use if your original return was filed, accepted and processed by the IRS but you needed to make an addition or correction by using a Form 1040X.

Did you actually use a Form 1040X? Or when you say you "amended" do you really mean that you just made corrections and e-filed it again?

Please explain exactly what you did so we can help.
