I am highly upset as my return wasnt rejected and i didnt receive my full refund as promised. Over 3000 dollars that was supposed to be given to me isnt in my acct but rather a few hundred dollars. If i dont receive an answer i will be looking into getting a lawyer to handle this matter because this is uncalled for and it also took forever for my deposit to be deposited into my acct.

IRS will send a letter of explanation later.

The problem is, the letter is confusing and only lists possible reasons for your adjustment.

Not the actual reason in your case.

TT is not notified when the IRS makes an adjustment and/or offset, but it could be due to the stimulus and/or Child Tax credit. Wait for the letter from the IRS.
